PUSH FOR LIBERATION = BUILD SOLIDARITY TO ABOLISH ‘AUSTRALIA’
NAZI ‘FREE SPEECH’ =
TROJAN HORSE FOR OPPRESSION,
*
1901: ALP with cross-class white settler support was the architect of the settler colonial genocidal ‘white australia’ policy that inspired nazis and apartheid ‘south africa’
2026: oversees the most violent border imperialism in the world, racist mass genocidal incarceration of First Nations peoples & murders in custody
The ALP’s ‘white australia policy’ was enacted at the exhibition building in ‘melbourne’, occupied Wurundjeri country. It’s no accident this place has many nazis
The trojan horse: White supremacist and nazi organising camoflaged as ‘free speech’. Incite more violent attacks on Black people, people of colour, trans/queer people, disabled people, women, & left-wing worker organising
Elites like billionaire Gina Rinehart and Pauline Hanson try maintain strategic distance from nazis, but echo their talking points

ANTI-RACIST FREE SPEECH IS UNDER ATTACK BY THE STATE. WE NEED TO STAND IN THE STREETS AGAINST REPRESSION
Anti-genocide, anti-fascist, Pro-Palestine action is the main target of increased state repression/attacks on free speech. Nazis are a side-show, who are calling for more fascism
We have seen escalated state police violence (Herzog protests, against Black and Brown communities), violent morning police raids, court harassment criminalising basic chants against Zionism, to threats of heavy time in prison for anti-genocide direct action
We have a ‘royal commission’ that’s peddling anti-Palestinian racism by centring genocidal Zionism
Support of pro-Palestine resistance organisations is criminalised by the state, meanwhile support of the genocidal Israeli Occupation Force is not (imagine if IOF soldiers on this continent were pursued for war crimes…)
We stand against new ‘hate crime’ laws that increase police powers with weaponised false accusations of antisemitism
Under repression, the state pressures us to give up: instead we must adapt and continue to mobilise in struggle

UPDATES ON THE FASH. THE NAZIS AND FAR-RIGHT ARE FRACTURED
The disbanded nazi ‘national socialist network’ (NSN) leaders and associates are desperately pushing August 30th as their ‘last chance’ to recruit for their violent ‘white australia’ political party before a high court case
In the lead up to August 30th, ‘march for australia’ and ‘fight for australia’ split over optics and control
One nation networks have tactically split, with Hanson having a rival event at the same time in the south-east
Nazi Tim Lutze, who ran the nazi boxing gym in Sunshine West, and was involved in the Camp Sovereignty attacks a year ago, killed himself this month. Good riddance!
No ex-NSN members have publicly commented on his death, instead sweeping it under the rug
Meanwhile, march for australia pushes nazi Thomas Sewell as a ‘victim’, who lives an elite-supported life of luxury in a 10 bedroom house in Hurstbridge

COUNTER AIMS AND CONSIDERATIONS
In the spirit of the anti-fascist principle, ‘we go where they go’, we aim to have direct anti-racist public opposition and solidarity against the nazi white nationalist march for white ‘australia’ in the CBD
Rather than ceding the CBD to them, we resist their marches being further emboldened and normalised
This is a national day of action: other major cities are also having direct counter rallies and there’s a diversity of events/actions/tactics on the day
We have seen nazi-led rallies attack First Nations people, people of colour and trans people in the CBD, with police facilitating them
An active counter-protest can be a part of solidarity alongside organic community defense in the CBD
On one nazi CBD march a homeless person resisted the nazi march with little bystander support. More is possible if there is solidarity!
We aim to stick together against any state repression. Do not talk to the police (name/address only if arrested/ detained, otherwise ‘no comment’)

What space and time we can hold on the streets depends on our numbers and initiative, so please spread the word
Try arrive around 11AM so we can form a crowd but you can also join later. You can use the Town Hall underpass connection from Flinders St to avoid the fash. Their rally starts 12pm @ Flinders and plans to go to parliament house
We aim to disperse together in the CBD
We need to keep a separation of time and place between the counter protest and Camp Sovereignty’s 2PM Rock against Racism, so disperse before, if you’re heading there later
What to expect? You can expect radical chants, impromptu speakers, noise and music
Worried about police violence? There have been counters where police have attacked, others they have not. All we can do is be prepared and publicly be in solidarity. There will be spaces closer to police lines and space further away, as well as medics (if you have decon kits, bring!) and legal observers
What to wear and bring? Consider blending into ‘melbourne’ navy/black/grey, or wearing/bringing anti-racist, trans/queer colours/signs that are very visible. Up to you. Wear a covid mask to keep us all safe from illness. Consider a backpack with supplies you’ll need for a few hours on the streets
Bring a buddy / or buddy up on the day 🙂
