What’s the fascist protest on the 30th August? Why counter? (1)
The nazi aligned ‘march / fight for australia’ are going on another racist CBD march, a year after their first infamous nazi rally addressed by Thomas Sewell. They are spreading blatant anti-Indigenous, anti-Black racism, calling for mass deportations of non-white migrants, and the elimination of trans people. They aim to assemble at Flinders St at 12pm and march to parliament house.
Last weekend the now informally run but ‘disbanded’ nazi national socialist network’s leaders started strongly pushing the rally. The nazi-adjacent ‘national workers alliance’ has been doing pop-up stunts. Nazi associate Hugo Lennon, spruiking the rally, is the grandson of the one of the wealthiest property owners.

It is the ruling class multi-millionaires and billionaires who hoard stolen property and wealth who cause imperialist wars and profit off the housing and cost of living crisis they created. We must fight against the Trumpist ‘one nation’ to nazi ecosystem scapegoating First Nations people, People of Colour migrants and trans people.
We call for left-wing networks to mobilise in solidarity and opposition in the CBD. A counter protest limits the recruitment and movement of fascists. Non-state street fascists grow more emboldened when ignored. But nazis are merely a small symptom of the problem.
We must remember so-called ‘australia’ is a colonial capitalist system of racism and oppression, built off the ‘white australia policy’, the ongoing genocide of First Nations people despite staunch resistance. We must protest the fascists and build solidarity in anti-colonial class war for liberation!
